David Archuletta

David Archuletta is my favorite little teenage boy singing sensation. For those of you who don't know he is on American Idol and definitely going to win. I often find myself you tubing past performances, amateur videos, etc. So today as I was watching afore-mentioned you tube videos...my mother chimed in with "oh I love him, but his dad needs to back off, he needs to stop making him cry...if he doesn't I'm going to punch him out" M.A. works out...watch out Mr. Archuletta.

I'm A Teacher

Well not really...but kind of...I'm an intern. So this past month has been crazy. I started interviewing for internship positions, even though I still wasn't convinced that interning is what I should do. Anyways for about a week and a half straight I was driving to Spanish Fork, Payson, Springville, Salem...all of the Utah hot spots, interviewing for different positions. I originally wanted to work at a High School, but there were no opening so I tried out the Junior High level, after one job offer and a slight emotional break down by me, I decided that maybe I should try elementary. Well, I found the perfect situation at a great school (right across from a Reams), with an awesome principal who loved me...I said I would accept the position, but I hadn't signed the paperwork yet. So, I'm sitting in class yesterday and my teacher announces that her husband is looking for an intern for Payson High School. It sounded awesome and clearly not having a problem with looking flaky and changing my mind I call up my friend Mike from Nebo School District, who's been setting up my interviews. He was way chill, told me about the job, which sounds awesome...field trips, a part-time teacher in the classroom with me who like started the special ed program for Nebo, and it's at a high school! After discussing my options Mike said the job was mine if I could tell him by 2:00 the next day. So I called Mike today, bright and early and told him I definitely wanted it (without even seeing the school...oops). Anyways, I am super excited, I know I will be busy but maybe I can help with Student Council and sports. I am also a little worried...I've been volunteering in High School's lately and the kids look older than me and some are punks. Anyways...I am a special ed. intern at Payson High School ya!
